This is a set of 1st edition vintage Ladybird books from the An Adventure from History Series 561 with dust covers. Published by Ladybird Books Ltd. Loughborough, dated 1956 - 1963.

The titles are:-

Florence Nightingale, 1959 - very good condition, 2 small tears on back dust cover

Christopher Columbus, 1961 - excellent condition

William The Conqueror, 1956 - good condition

Sir Walter Raleigh, 1957 - good condition, some wear to top and bottom edges of spine on dust cover

Charles 11, 1960 - very good condition

Alexander The Great, 1963 - very good condition

Henry V, 1962 - excellent condition

Captain Scott, 1963 - very good condition, some slight wear to top of spine on dust cover

Queen Elizabeth 1, 1958 - very good condition

Captain Cook, 1958 - very good condition, small tear at top corners of front cover
