Own your own piece of gaming history now! This incredibly rare limited edition console was part of Nintendo's Play It Loud promotional campaign. It's estimated only around

5000 units of these were ever produced for retail sale in UK shops. The original owner said he had owned it since it came out, having purchased it from a local Argos as he

is a Manchester United fan. Said to have heavily used this console since purchase, as you can see by the wearing on the silkscreen printing.

Due to the used nature of this console, we had to replace the original conductive rubber membranes, buttons, piezo speaker & battery terminals to ensure your console is as close

to new condition as we can get it. 

This Official Manchester United Nintendo Game Boy Limited Edition Console has been tested, cleaned and refurbished and is in good working condition. Complete with a 1 year guarantee and 24 hour delivery.

Functionality Checks Every console is tested for the following functionalities (where applicable to make/model) and found to be in working order;

No dead pixels or screen burn is present, and the screen has no cracks.

The console unit displays output correctly to a TV/monitor

The battery has been tested and is found to be at or above 80% of the original capacity. Where this isn't the case, the battery will be replaced with a non-OEM replacement battery. 
  • Buttons
All buttons on the console have been tested and are responsive to user input, as well as any mechanical movement required for the use of them. 
  • Storage
The storage has been tested and formatted to the original factory settings. 
  • Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity have been tested and are able to successfully connect to other devices.
  • Audio
Microphone and speaker has been tested, and presents no distortion
  • Operating System/Firmware
The console is running a validated operating system or firmware, and will be updated to the latest version at the time of purchase.
  • Controllers
Any included controllers have been tested to ensure that each button is responsive to user input. Wired controllers will have no exposed or torn wires, and will only be shipped with fully intact original wiring. 
  • Connectors and ports
Each connector and port on the console is tested to ensure the correct functionality of each individual connector, as well as any mechanical movement that is required for the use of them.

The console has been inspected to show no signs of liquid contact.

The console has been inspected to show no signs of oxidation.
