Powerbank recommendation & run-time
We have been using Anker powerbanks extensively throughout testing and during demos . In particular, the Anker Powercore 20100 works with the GO! flawlessly and retails at around £40. We have used the power pack with a small rig for over 8 hours. At full load a 20000mAh powerbank should last around 5 hours (given a powerbank efficiency of 90%).
20000mAh*3.7V = 74Watt hours
74Wh/12W = 6.16 Hours
6.16 Hours @90% efficiency = 5.55 Hours
How many HP will it power?
We think between 48hp and 84hp is a reasonable target, but it’s possible to get more (or less) modules depending on how power hungry they are. Some of the most recent mutable instruments modules, for example, are very power friendly (50mA for a 12hp plaits)

Kit rating: EASY
This Atari Punk Console kit is based on the original Stepped Tone Generator by Forest M. Mimms III. It creates great lo-fi sounds resembling those from the old style Atari games using an astable square wave oscillator.
The main features of the kit are a 9v battery connector snap, an on/off power switch, a 3.5mm jack so that it can be hooked up to other devices such as an amp, speaker or headphones, and two knobs to control the pitch and depth of the quirky raspy tones produced.
