We support these women lacemakers in their hometown as well as Children with Cancer UK
We have other pieces for christening, baby naming or any other special occasion: gowns, headbands, handmade lace booties (baby blue, soft pink and white), and over-nappy white panties with lace trims OUR HISTORYWe are a UK-based brand, but our lace & embroidery are handcrafted in Poção, Northeast of Brazil, by a group of women who have been making lace & embroidery for generations. Their exclusive, high-quality works are lovingly created within their family environment, so there isn't stress or forced labour involved in the creation of any of our products! Their "master-pieces" are mostly created of 100% cotton, which in Brazil comes, mostly, from sustainable sources. Therefore, the items you get from us in the UK and Europe can be considered both as "fair trade" and family "heirlooms." Look after them with love and care and they will last for a long time, which is both good for you and the environment!
Our beautiful crispy white handmade lace baby shawls should be looked after with care. Soak it in stain removal with oxygen, if needed, then rinse it by hand or put it in a wash bag before washing it in the washing machine.
Not to be bleached, tumble dried, dry cleaned or washed with coloured clothes
Just spray some water on it and use the cotton programme on your iron. Iron it thoroughly making sure the stitches of the lace don't get trapped on the nose of the iron or the lace may get ruined.
