Cake Topper

The price is for a large personalised 7.5 inch / 19 cms diameter edible cake topper printed on our premium icing sheet or card thickness rice paper.

We PRE-CUT your cake topper for you, so you don't have to - so no cutting necessary :-)

The toppers are made from 100% edible products.

Cupcake Toppers

If you require matching cupcake toppers you can add those onto your order in the pull down menu :-) You will receive 24 cupcakes with a diameter of 4.5 cms each cupcake topper.

The cupcake toppers are NOT PRE-CUT - you will need to cut out with dry sharp scissors we do not cut those out for you :-(

Digital Image Downloads

A digital image download is an image that we will send you via a link for you to print out yourself - we do not send out a physical cake topper to you.

Where a digital image download is available - we will send you a link to download within 48 hours.

BENEFITS OF UPGRADING TO ICING OVER RICE PAPER

The printed image is clearer and shaper on icing than on rice paper

Icing sheets are sweet to taste and rice paper is made from potato starch so has no taste/flavour

Icing is much more flexible and easier to apply to your cake

INSTRUCTIONS

Icing Sheet :-

Simply remove the A4 clear backing sheet from your icing sheet we use easy peel icing sheets so you should no have any problems removing it from the large sheet.

Place the cake topper onto your chosen cake, suitable for use on icing, marzipan and buttercream/frosting. I always suggest attaching your cake topper with a buttercream or frosting – or you can slightly dampen a fondant icing so that it goes “tacky” to touch, and your icing sheet will stick to that great.

Rice Paper:-

Place the cake topper onto your cake using either buttercream, frosting or royal icing to secure into place, suitable for use with icing, marzipan and buttercream/frosting covered cakes.

Due to the slightly transparent nature of rice paper some colours will vary from the colour you see on the advertised image, but once placed into position, the colour will show brighter – due to no light passing from behind.

Please be aware that rice paper is sensitive to moisture, excessive moisture in your buttercream/topping can cause the paper to curl or dissolve - please never let into contact with water, this will melt your cake topper!

STORAGE

We suggest you use your cake topper within 6 months of purchase. So a great lead-time for any party organising.

All our cake toppers are made to order for you – we don’t carry any stock that has been sat on shelves for months – always printed fresh once you have ordered. Always store your cake topper flat and in a room temperature environment, a bedroom drawer is always a great idea, away from any little ones that might want to eat the cake topper before their birthday – never store in a fridge or freezer – this will affect the edible inks on your image!

Our icing toppers ingredients are:- Modified starches (E1422, E1412), maltodextrin, glycerol, sugar, water, thickeners (E4601, E414, E415), dextrose, food-colour (E171), emulsifiers (E435, E471, E491), preservative (E202), citric acid (E330), artificial flavour and printed with high quality edible ink - All ingredients are 100% vegetarian.

Rice topper ingredients are:- Potato starch, sunflower oil and water and printed with high quality edible ink. All ingredients are 100% vegetarian.
