Prime Lens HELIOS 44M 58 mm f/2 M42 Mount Description Helios (Гелиос) 44M  is 58 mm f/2 popular Russian portrait lens. This version is made by KMZ factory, ex-USSR. The lens fits M42 mount SLR cameras: Zenit, Practica, Pentax and others. Can be used on digital cameras via adapters. An inexpensive durable portrait lens with very good image quality and nice 8-blades bokeh. Condition Lens is used but in works well tested on digital camera. The glass elements are free of scratches, fungus or fog. Aperture works normally in M mode but  doesn't react in A mode. The blades are clean. It seems to me that at f/16 the hole is bigger than it has to be. But I always prefer to use the old lenses up to f/5.6-8. The focus ring rotates smoothly throughout the range. The appearance of the lens is pretty good. The filter thread is injured and is a bit complicated to mount filter. All markers are clear. The lens comes with front and rear caps.
