KTM 790/890 Adventure R and S Engine Guard Bashplate Cover Crap Flap. Fits all years.

Fits Husqvarna Norden 901 too (not Expedition model)

CNC machined in 3mm black HDPE.

Virtually unbreakable.

Keeps mud and road grime off the engine and exhaust downpipe.

Easily mounts with four BZP spire nuts and M5 stainless nuts/bolts provided. 

NB: fitting nuts provided as spacer between the plastic guard and bashplate improves airflow. See last picture.

Please note there me light brush marks on the part as this is the natural finish of the material. The reverse side may have scratches or deeper marks, but will not be seen and do not affect performance.

There is clearance between the exhaust, however there can be slight distortion or marks appear as exhaust bend varies on some bikes.

We had the engine bay protector made to this design because the engine bay was getting full of mud. Having a flat smooth finish on the face allows less mud to stick on the face of it. If it was fully ventilated then the mud would go through the holes. There is a small gap between the guard and radiator to still allow easy jet washing behind the guard.

Having a space in front of the oil cooler and the engine bay guard which is protected, allows less mud to sit around the oil cooler and engine allowing engine to run normally.
