A fabulous spring trench type coat/jacket, it is used, has signs of use eg slight marks and slight discolouration but even with these it is still in good condition and has lots of years left in it.
It has
- a full patterned light quilted lining, that will look stylish when worn open - or just casually thrown on the back of a chair
- it has 3 buttons at the front as closure.
One of the buttons is at the very top so not visible in the first photo. When closed, there is another row of three buttons on the other side so six buttons can be seen when it is done up - so very stylish 'button detail'
- it has two 'not so deep," pockets at the front (please see photos with spoons to give you an idea- spoons are not for sale though)
The flaps on the pockets have a cream piping on the edges, a similar piping is also on the epaulettes details on the shoulders - please see last photo
- it has a long pleat at the centre back hem instead of an 'open vent'
- it has a matching belt and loops so possibly the look can be switched up with ... say a leather belt that matches the buttons
- it has a 'flap' / layer at the back shoulder.
- it has 'flaps" on the end of the sleeves with matching buttons as closure and similar piping to the pockets
- a spare button stitched on the inside, please see second to last photo
This only has 'K' on the label, I am not sure of the full brand name but nonetheless it looks, feels expensive. The stitching and finishing is clean / well done. It just has that classic, retro, 'well put together look'.
