Set of 6 light-wood shaped, turned bobbins with beautiful spangles.  I call these the 4 seasons due to the head-beads

The bobbins all belonged to my godmother who was an amazing lace maker - she collected her bobbins from her travels around the country and the world.  My godfather asked me to sell these for him.  They both were upstanding in their community, were Lord and Lady Mayoress once upon a time and did/do a lot of local charity work.  She would have wanted her bobbins to be used in the craft and I hope that you can make good use of them.  It's been pleasure for me to explore her collection for the purpose of listing on ebay (I have kept a selection of my favourites as a memento, they look so lovely on display!)

• Postage: at Royal Mail and eBay postal charges only (see Royal Mail and eBay website) - I charge at cost price (or less) , estimated using my kitchen scales (!) so if on the rare occasion there is an over-charge, I always refund the difference - you can be assured you are in safe hands.  I always offer postage discounts for multiple purchases, so please contact me. If you would like another postal service e.g. Second Class or Collect+, please ask.  I do make a small charge to cover the outrageous ebay charge on commission on postage, but I do not believe in making a profit on P&P. 

• Packaging is free:  I 'recycle' with used packaging, so saving you money and helping the environment.  All items are carefully wrapped and well packaged - please see my feedback.  

• International customers are welcome.  I am a member of the eBay International Postage Service and use this to post items abroad so we are all supported and protected.  Please see eBay policy.  

• Proof of Postage: I always obtain a proof of posting. 

• Collection:  you are welcome to collect from (near) Great Grimsby.
