Most of in vitro plants are completely without the roots becouse they don't need it in tissue culture, but after planting the roots grow after a few days. Plants will need time to adapt to new conditions in the aquarium and release new underwater leaves and the color of plants is mainly dependent on fertilization. Some plants require special substrate, better light, fertilizer and CO2. How to plant in vitro plants ? Please follow the short instructions: 1. Gently wash plant from gel or liquid under cold tap water, 2. Split plants into smaller parts (use scissors - usually used for carpet plants - e.g. Hemianthus, eleocharis etc ), 3. Plant the plant in the aquarium (use tweezers). Any Microsorum , Bolbitis, Bucephalandra , Anubias and moss should be attached to wood or stone or other ornaments with a fishing line. ( glue can be used for mosses). Other plants need to be planted in substrate , it is best to use tweezers. |
