Clay, one of nature’s true gifts, has been used since prehistoric times for its therapeutic and cosmetic qualities.
It gets its red color from the high level of oxidation in the soil but its hue also depends on its physico-chemical composition, it can equally be green, brown, white, yellow or gray.
More precisely, it is an earthy rock created by the breaking-down of preexisting rocks (mother rocks), such as granite, mica and especially feldspars. Red clay is packed full of amazing and often unrecognized virtues which Najel wants to share with you.
