Buffalo Explorer Jacket - Black

This great value all season jacket can handle all weathers and is ready for the road at a moment’s notice.

Comprising of a ripstop nylon and full grain leather outer construction, this jacket is built for the road and ready for whatever you throw at it. The Ripstop nylon is created using a special reinforcement technique to maximise the resistance to tearing and ripping. This is done with the use of thick reinforcing thread that are interwoven at intervals whilst weaving the material. It is woven in a crosshatch pattern for improved strength and durability. The full grain leather adds improved durability at the shoulder and lower arms, adding additional protections from abrasion in the event of an accident. Additional padding comes in the form of removable armour is key places that provide padding where it is needed most. Included with this jacket is a pocket for additional back armour that can be purchased separately to increase the protective properties of this jacket.

YKK central zipper closes this jacket with traditional YKK reliability while the popper and Velcro closure of the storm flap helps to further reduce the risk of rain seeping into your jacket while riding in the wet. Keeping you warm and dry in the Buffalo Explorer jacket is the 120g thermal quilted liner which can be removed to provide you with a lightweight jacket for riding in the summer months. The fixed waterproof and windproof liner will be sure to keep you dry even in the event of any unpredictable weather.

Keeping you cool is the air flow ventilation system, positioned at strategic points around the jacket and open and closed by zipper. These zippers can be opened to allow airflow into the jacket, providing superior ventilation when caught in the heat.

Storage is not an issue for the Buffalo Explorer jacket thanks to four external pockets and two internal pockets which can used for storing all manner of items that you may need access to on your adventures. There is also a large rear map pocket for the storage of maps and other paper based items so that they may be immediately accessible upon request. There are even hard warmer pockets for somewhere to keep your hands warm when off the bike.
