HAND NEEDLES
Beading needles are long, fine needles. They are useful for sewing on beads, sequins and pearls.
Betweens/Quilting needles are very short and fine needles to allow quick and even stitching.
Chenille needles are large eye needles. They are similar to tapestry needles in length and thickness but have a sharper point. These are used in the craft of crewel and ribbon embroidery.

Knitters are used to sew together knitted pieces. Size 18 is larger and ideal for sewing up chunky garments. The smaller size 14 needle is ideal for sewing garments tht are double knitted, baby garments etc.
Leather needles/Glovers needles. Commonly used in a variety of leather work including shoe making, leather garments, belts etc. The triangular point helps them to pierce through tough materials such as suede, vinyl and leather without tearing.
Milliners are sometimes known as straw needles and are traditionally used in hat making. These needles are long with round eyes, ideally used in pleating and smocking.

SEWING MACHINE NEEDLES
Compatible with system 130/705H – Which is the general needle system in use for household sewing machines including SINGER. The actual needle size can be measured in metric and imperial systems. For both systems, the bigger the number, the bigger the needle (Sizes are shown in metric, with the imperial size in brackets alongside).
BALLPOINT NEEDLES: These needles have a rounded tip that slips between fibres rather than piercing them. Choose from the 3 sizes available. 5 needles per pack.
DENIM NEEDLES: These needles are ideal for sewing denim or other densely woven fabrics. They have an extra sharp point and stiff shank.
LEATHER POINT NEEDLES: These needles are ideal for leatherwork.
STANDARD POINT NEEDLES: Great general purpose needles.
