Sewing Pattern, Full Size, Unicorn, Ponytoy Cute Pretty Easy Fun, Great Gift

This is a pattern and instructions for the UNICORN/PONY and is designed full size and printed out on A4 paper.  No need for the pattern to be sellotaped together.

You are buying a printed hard copy that will be mailed to you, not the made up Unicorn.  This will normally be posted within 24 hours of payment via Royal Mail, 2nd class is free.  Royal Mail 1st class can be paid for.

  Please note: as this a copy from my original pattern, you're welcome to make for yourself, family, friends and for sale at craft fairs, but no mass production please.

This really cute Unicorn is an easy make and for sewers of all abilities. There are suggestions for 3 types of mane and tail: yarn and wool locks as illustrated and strips of material (not illustrated).  This can be sewn by hand or machine.  Search for 'wool locks' to create the mane I have made.  10 grams will be sufficient to make one mane.  15 grams could make two.

The Unicorn is not suitable for under 5's as they may wish to chew the mane and tail.  Please use your discretion when making for young children. The actual sewing is just for the main body and the horn (a simple triangle).  The hooves are very simple to make and are just felt sewn to the legs.  The wings can be decorated by machine or hand or left plain.  All the embellishments are sewn by hand.  Please use a reasonably good quality material for the body, such as sold for crafting, as when stuffed firmly the seams need to take the pressure.

Lovely to keep or a special enchanting gift for a youngster or friend.

The real charm comes in the detail and this can be left completely to your imagination!  I've given full illustrated instructions to achieve the look in the photos but you can embellish away.  I thought about making a saddle from felt but then - wouldn't you want to ride bareback on this fantastical creature! 

The Unicorn will make up to approximately 32 cms high by 30 cms wide.  Easy to adjust the size of the pattern larger or smaller if you wish.  Details of where the fabrics have been obtained are included with the pattern.
