IMPORTANT! Caring for your natural-textured synthetic dreadlocks…
Due to the nature of their material, these dreadlock extensions must be kept away from sources of direct heat or the fibre may may start to melt.
Keep away from naked flames, heated appliances such as hair straighteners, curling tongs and hairdryers (other than on a cool setting) and do not dry over/next to fan or gas heaters. However, it is safe to
hang them over a radiator to dry (or sit near a radiator if you're wearing them, taking care not to scald yourself leaning against it).
These dreads are fully washable either on or off your head, simply use either a regular hair or dreadlock specific shampoo and take care to rinse out all of the bubbles to prevent itchiness. Avoid conditioner unless your own hair is severely damaged as this may shorten the life-span of your style. (Recommended max wearing time is approximately 6 weeks.) To dry, simply squeeze out any excess water (do not wring dry) then wrap your head/the dreadlocks in a big fluffy towel before air drying the rest. Putting the towel over your pillow for the night after washing also helps to remove any last drips!Natural textured synthetics may occasionally get a little fuzzy around the edges but this is normal and does not mean they're falling apart. Simply roll the dreadlock roughly between both palms to restore the rounded shape and smoother texture. If a few stray hairs sneak out beyond the end of the dread, they can be cut off and the end rolled back into shape.
Store in a cool, dry place, wrapped in a plastic bag or another smooth non-fibrous material.
