Tabac Original Shaving Soap whips up easily to provide an especially smooth and lubricating lather. This is a tallow based shaving soap which are harden to find these days. Tallow ensures an easy, enduring lather but also acts as a natural lubricant to improve razor glide which prevents small nicks and cuts. This is the 125g Shaving soap refill for the classic Tabac shaving bowl. Made by Mäurer & Wirtz in Germany since 1959.

How to use

Product should be used directly from pot and simply work the top of the soap with a wet (not soaking) shaving brush until the bristles are 'loaded' with shaving soap. Now apply the soap to the areas to be shaved, using  the shaving brush in a strong circular motion. This softens the hairs and also raises them ready for shaving. When finished briefly rinse the top of the soap and pour excess water off before replacing the top.

Grooming Tip

Before applying shaving soap you should always be aware of the direction in wich your facial hairs grow. First pass should follow the direction the hairs grow and the second pass can go across or against the 'grain' for a super close shave.
