Thermochromic inks react to changes in temperature by exhibiting a colour change. This pack comprises of 50% Thermochromic slurry and 50% TDS1 Thermo Bind, which when mixed, produces a thermochromic ink that can be applied to Paper and Board. The slurry and TDS1 need to be mixed in equal amounts, to create a finished ink.

The thermochromic ink on a printed item disappears as the temperature rises above the response temperature of the thermochromic ink and then it reverses back to its original colour as the temperature is reduced again (below the reaction temperature). Thermochromic Inks are available in several colours and can be featured in a variety of applications including high-end promotional items, advertising, labels, packaging, security documents, colour changing t-shirts, toys, novelties.
