Triumph Spitfire, Herald Engine Mounts & Fitting Bolt Kit Ukc5334

We are offering for sale a pair of ENGINE MOUNTS & FITTING BOLT KIT that would be suitable for the following vehicles :

TRIUMPH SPITFIRE MkI, II, III, IV & 1500 ; YEARS 1962-1980.

TRIUMPH HERALD 1200 (FROM GA80001E), 1250 & 13/60 (SALOON, COURIER VAN, ESTATE & CONVERTIBLE) ; YEARS 1961-1971.

This engine mount kit is supplied NEW and, for reference has the Part No. UKC5334.

Each kit includes 2 x Engine mounts with zinc plated fitting nuts and washers and 4 x UNF zinc plated Bolts to attach the mounts to the chassis, plus applicable plain washers and nyloc insert nuts. The kit as supplied will be sufficient to complete one car/engine.

Given their location on the car, the engine mounts tend to suffer from oil contamination or the rubber perishes through age, resulting in excess engine 'play' when under applied load either through hard acceleration or braking leading to a possible MOT failure (in the UK).

If the engine mounts and fittings on your Spitfire or Herald are past their best, these would make an ideal replacements. Alternatively, if you have had reason to remove the engine on your car, then why not replace the engine mounts & bolts whilst you are at it before refitting.
