A pretty and very popular (at the time) two piece suit in a lace pattern. Worked in something called Velveen which was a fingering or 4 ply, on No. 2.5 and 5 US size needles. It's a fairly loose lace pattern that knits up fairly quickly according to the pattern. Scale is 1 lace pattern to (11sts.) to 2 ins. Size to fit: 16-18 US vintage size which seems to be a 34/36 ins Bust. You can knit larger sizes by simply adding more patterns, which is explained in more detail on the pattern sheet.

The needles and hooks mentioned are old UK sizes, so I have included  a chart to help with old to new sizing Please note you are buying a quality laminated copy of the pattern shown, not the original or finished  item.
